Introduction

Installation

If you purchased an extension from Magento Marketplace then click on the How to Install Magento 2 Extension to install the extension.


If you purchased an extension from Solwin Site then follow the below steps to install the extension.

Installation Process

Note: Please take a backup of your all Magento files and database before installing or updating any extension.

Download the extension file:
  1. Download the Hide Product Price extension .ZIP file from solwininfotech.com using your Solwin Infotech website account.
  2. Extract the .ZIP file which contains another .ZIP files.
  3. If you have purchased the extension for the Community Edition, then you will see the extension .ZIP file for Magento 2.1.x, Magento 2.2.x, Magento 2.3.x, and Magento 2.4.x version.
    If you have purchased the extension for the Enterprise Edition, then you will see the extension .ZIP file for Magento 2.1.x, Magento 2.2.x and Magento 2.3.x version.
Extension Installation:

For Magento 2 Community Edition,

  1. If you are using Magento 2.1.x then you need to extract solwin-hideprice-m2-2.1.x.zip file.
    If you are using Magento 2.2.x then you need to extract solwin-hideprice-m2-2.2.x.zip file.
    If you are using Magento 2.3.x, Magento 2.4.x then you need to extract solwin-hideprice-m2.zip file.

For Magento 2 Enterprise Edition,

  1. If you are using Magento 2.1.x then you need to extract solwin-hideprice-m2-EE-2.1.x.zip file.
    If you are using Magento 2.2.x then you need to extract solwin-hideprice-m2-EE-2.2.x.zip file.
    If you are using Magento 2.3.x then you need to extract solwin-hideprice-m2-EE.zip file.

Following 2 to 6 steps are the same for Community and Enterprise edition.

  1. Copy the app folder and paste it into your magento ROOT directory.

  2. Run upgrade command as specified : php bin/magento setup:upgrade.
  3. Run deploy command as specified : php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy -f.
  4. Clear the cache either from the admin panel or command line php bin/magento cache:clean.
  5. Now, you can see the Solwin menu in admin panel. Please go to Solwin -> Hide Product Price -> Configuration and select Enable to Yes.
  6. Change/Set all other options as per your requirements and save settings.

NOTE : Make sure the installation is done from under the FTP administrator account. Otherwise make sure to set 775 permissions to the store root directory after the extension is deployed.

Hide Product Price is the most powerful Magento 2 extension to hide product price and Add to Cart button from non registered customers.

To view the price, customers must need to register and login to the store. With the help of the Hide Product Price extension store owner can easily hide Add to Cart button or organize private sales in their Magento 2 store.

The extension allows the store admin can hide based on product prices, selected categories, or all products.

The store owners can also set start and end time for hiding prices. The extension also provides options to set custom message below the "Hide Price" button.

Even the ability to hide product prices for an individual product.

Settings

In the admin control panel from Solwin >> Hide Price >> Configuration menu, the Hide Price Magento 2 extension allows the store owners to enable or disable the module in the store and provide more configuration options for hide price.

There are some configuration options for Hide Price. Let's discuss all in more detail.

If store owners want to display hide price button with All Product/Selected product with Login Popup.

  • Enable: Yes | No.
  • Display "Hide Price" As Per: Select Product Selection | All Product.
  • Hide Price In All Products: Yes | No.
  • Hide Price Button Text: Enter hide price button text.
  • URL Options: Select Login Popup.
  • Redirection: Default Redirection | Referer Redirection.
  • Show Text Below Hide Price Button: Yes | No.
  • Text Below Hide Price Button: Enter text for below hide price button.

If the store owners want to display hide price button with selected categories with only text.

  • Enable: Yes | No.
  • Display "Hide Price" As Per: Select Category Selection.
  • Categories: Select a category to display the Hide Product Price button.
  • Start Date: Set start date.
  • End Date: Set end date.
  • Hide Price Button Text: Enter hide price button text.
  • URL Options: Select None.

If the store owners want to display hide price button with a selected price range and custom URL.

  • Display "Hide Price" As Per: Select Price Range Selection.
  • Starting Price: Set the starting price.
  • Ending Price: Set the ending Price.
  • Start Date: Set start date.
  • End Date: Set end date.
  • Hide Price Button Text: Enter hide price button text.
  • URL Options: Select a custom URL.
  • Custom URL: Enter a custom URL.
  • Open In New Tab: Yes | No.
  • Show Text Below Hide Price Button: Yes | No.
  • Text Below Hide Price Button: Enter text for below hide price button.

How To Configure

To enable "Hide Product Price" functionality for particular product, go to CATALOG >>Product add/edit a particular product. set Hide Price to Yes and set Hide price start & end date.

How To Use

On the front side, on the product list page customer can view the Please login to see price button instead of Price & Add to cart button. Also display custom message for hide price.

Clicking on Please login to see price button, it opens login popup with fields Email and Password.

If the customer has not account yet, he can directly go to create account page by clicking on 'Create an Account'
